OH MY ROD!

I spent years in restaurant kitchens. Early mornings, late nights, the kind of grind that wears you down slowly until you don't even notice it anymore.

I also spent years fighting something darker. Addiction doesn't announce itself - it just becomes your normal. Until one day, 256 days after leaving that poison in my wake where it belongs, I decided it wasn't going to be my normal anymore.

Four weeks ago I started microdosing psilocybin. Slowly, things started getting clearer.

Then one night I was walking my dog Arf - late, cold Michigan air - and I smelled something. Salt. By the town clock in my small part of Mid-Michigan, U.S.A. I don't know how to explain it. But in that moment I knew.

I'm moving to Puerto Rico.

And I'm building something on the way there.

OH MY ROD! isn't just a fishing brand. It's a recalibration. It's what happens when you stop grinding for someone elses's dream and start moving toward your own. The water is where I think clearly. The rod in my hand is the opposite of everything that was pulling me under.

This brand is for the angler who gets it. Who knows that standing at the water's edge isn't about the catch - it's about the return.
